I finally picked up a new (used) lens today, and what better way to test it out then to shoot Great Britain's fireworks display at night three of Vancouver's annual Celebration of Light! This was the 10 minute pre-show warning.

Great colours and the fireworks are scrumptious. -- still looking. Thank you very very much. I think this is one of my best shots of the evening. I like the fact that there's still light in the sky, so unlike most fireworks photos which the sky is all black, there's some contrast to it.

Once I seen the fireworks being fired off the barge, I opened the shutter. 10 seconds later, this is what I got
